Chandigarh. Furious Khalistani preacher Amritpal Singh is suspected to be hiding in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. As soon as this information was received, the Punjab Police has completely sealed the Hoshiarpur and Phagwara Road and has set up a naka near Manaiya village in the district. It is being told that a big action can be taken at any time regarding Amritpal.
In fact, the police had tried to stop a white colored Innova with Ludhiana number here, but the four youths sitting in it drove away. In such a situation, the police chased them, then the youth entered Maniya village here with the Innova. The police suspect that Amritpal and his companions were traveling in that car.
According to the information received from the police, ‘The four youths in this white Innova parked their car at the village gurudwara and escaped on foot. In such a situation, the entire village has been sealed and the police is conducting a search operation. Although the police have not found any clue of these youths yet.
Police has already stopped people 4 to 5 kms. No one is being allowed to enter the village. Top police officers are also present on the spot, while the local police is investigating inside the village.
While giving information, Sarpanch of this village Jaswinder Singh said that around 8:30 the Innova vehicle had entered our village and left towards Gurudwara Sahib. A Fortuner vehicle was driving behind him and then there were police vehicles. But due to the closure of the road ahead, the youths riding in the Innova had to stop the vehicle near the gurudwara and then escaped from there by jumping over the wall.
The police have taken the Innova car into their possession and are conducting house-to-house searches. It is believed that big news can come anytime regarding Amritpal.
