According to orders issued by the Home Department, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)-rank officers have been assigned new postings across districts, police commissionerates, PAC battalions, and specialized security units.
The transfer list includes officers serving in key locations such as Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Varanasi, Agra, Ghaziabad, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Ayodhya, Jhansi, Bareilly, and Noida, along with several other districts across the state.
As part of the restructuring exercise, a number of officers have been moved from district police units to commissionerate systems, while others have been assigned responsibilities in the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Government Railway Police (GRP), and other specialized branches.
The government order also brings significant changes in the deployment of Circle Officers (COs) and Deputy Superintendents of Police posted in various districts.
