More than 50 detained(50 detained)

Surat: Stones were pelted by anti-social elements at Ganesh pandal in Surat, Gujarat. After the stone pelting, a clash broke out between two groups. Stones were pelted at police and public and many vehicles were also set on fire. Police say that more than 50 people  (50 detained) have been detained in this case.
Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi himself reached the pandal in Surat where Ganeshji’s idol was broken by pelting stones. He also performed aarti of Ganeshji by performing pooja in the same pandal. Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot and Surat Mayor Dakshesh Mavani were also present with him.
