Maharashtra: Discussions on seat sharing among all the parties have intensified regarding the Maharashtra  (Maharashtra) Assembly elections. According to sources, there has been a consensus on the division of 130 seats in the meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA). Discussions on exchanging 24 other seats with each other are in the final stages. It is known that the alliance of Congress, NCP (SP), Shiv Sena (UBT) is known as Mahavikas Aghadi.

Confusion stuck on the seats of these zones

According to sources, there is a dispute on some seats of Vidarbha, Marathwada, Mumbai and Konkan within the Mahavikas Aghadi. In the seat sharing, the political situation is being assessed at the local level of each district. Due to this, the seat sharing is getting delayed.

Agencies conducted survey
The top leaders of Mahavikas Aghadi have set a target to resolve the disputed seats by holding continuous meetings next week. All three parties have hired their own agencies. These agencies have conducted the survey and submitted the report. The reports of the agencies are also being cited during the seat sharing meeting.

Congress eyeing minority dominated seats
Let us tell you that Congress is eyeing minority dominated seats in Mumbai to regain its traditional vote bank. Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar’s NCP have already started working on the electoral equations.

Congress won more seats in Lok Sabha elections
After its excellent performance in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, Congress is hoping to win more seats in Mumbai. In Maharashtra, Congress has emerged as the largest party with 13 seats. Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena has won 9 and NCP (SP) has won 8 seats.
