stones thrown in Jagdishpur

Patna. JDU leader Upendra Kushwaha has alleged that his convoy was attacked on Monday near Nayaka Tola Mod in Jagdishpur of Bhojpur district. He himself gave information about the incident by tweeting. The JDU leader wrote, ‘Just now some anti-social elements suddenly attacked my vehicle passing near Nayka Tola turn in Jagdishpur of Bhojpur district, threw stones. Everyone ran away when the security personnel ran. Along with the tweet, he has also tagged state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Bihar Police.

Upendra Kushwaha, the rebel chairman of the parliamentary board of the Janata Dal (United), has made this allegation at a time when his relationship with state CM Nitish Kumar has soured. In fact, Kushwaha has opened a front against the top leadership of his own party by staying in the party and the party is also in a dilemma due to his move. JDU leaders also believe that Kushwaha has the instigation of BJP, but no one is able to speak openly about it. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also expressed doubt on January 25 that Upendra Kushwaha could be in touch with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Though Kushwaha had made it clear days ago that he would ‘never become a member of the BJP’, he sidestepped the question of forming a party and joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. . Former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha merged his party Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) with JDU in 2021.

When Nitish Kumar was asked a question about the speculation of Kushwaha leaving the party, he had said that Kushwaha is ‘free to go wherever he wants to go as soon as possible.’ However, Kushwaha took to social media on social media. Said that he is not going anywhere leaving his share. He had tweeted, ‘Bada achcha kaha bhai sahib aapne…! At the behest of such an elder brother, the younger brother started leaving the house, then every elder brother would drive his younger brother out of the house and usurp the entire property of the father and grandfather alone. How can you leave like this, leaving your share?
Kushwaha can become the Deputy Chief Minister. However, dismissing these reports, Nitish Kumar clarified that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav will continue in this post. Kumar has virtually declared Yadav as the future face of the ruling ‘Mahagathbandhan’.
