In fact, revealing the robbery incident at the house of a retired railway worker in Gopalganj city of Bihar, the police have arrested five dacoits living in Bettiah district. A suspended CRPF jawan is also included in the arrested dacoits, who has turned out to be the mastermind of the whole incident. Police have recovered gold and silver jewelery looted from the house of the railway worker from inside the ground. Along with this, all the items including mobile have also been recovered.

Giving information about this, SP Anand Kumar said that two country-made pistols, three live cartridges, five mobiles and two stolen bikes have been recovered from the arrested criminals.
Among the arrested criminals, Mohd, a resident of Chhapra’s Khaira area. Islamuddin Mian’s son Aslam turned out to be the mastermind, who was suspended from CRPF 10 years ago.

Police along with Aslam, Dipanshu Pandey alias Sachin, son of Kedar Pandey, resident of Dular Patti village of Shanichari police station of Bettiah district, Rahul Kumar, son of Shambhu Sharma, resident of Gahiri Murliya Tola of Nautan police station, Bullet Kumar and Jairam Sah, son of Madan Sah of Bariyarpur village. The son of Shivlal Kumar has also been arrested. Mo. Aslam had also changed the address of his Aadhar card and gave the address of the ruined army village of Mufasil police station in Bettiah, so that he could dodge the police.

The robbery took place on the night of September 13 from the house of Sagir Alam, retired from the railways, in ward 22 of Azad Nagar locality of Nagar police station. The dacoits had robbed the entire family and looted property worth more than 10 lakhs including gold and silver. After this the police got forensic investigation done. More than 50 CCTV cameras were checked. Then the police came to know that criminals have gathered near Bhitbherwa to carry out a major incident. Under the leadership of Sadar SDPO Sanjeev Kumar, the police raided and arrested the five criminals. After the arrest, the robbery scandal came to light after being questioned.
