In the disproportionate assets case), the Bureau of Surveillance Investigation on Saturday raided drug inspector Jitendra Kumar’s five locations in Patna and Gaya. The surveillance team conducted an intensive search of Jitendra Kumar’s office located at Malaria Office in Sultanganj, Patna. Along with this, a raid was also conducted at his Khan Mirza residence in Sultanganj. So far, about four crore cash and 38.27 lakh jewelery have been recovered from the drug inspector’s house in the raid. The confiscated amount is being counted with the note counting machine.

Apart from this, the surveillance team has also recovered several land papers, several passbooks of various banks and other documents from the house of Jitendra Kumar. The monitoring team has also found four four wheelers from the residence of the drug inspector, which is being investigated. The raids are still going on, it is believed that the seizures could be even higher.

Surendra Kumar Mahuar, DSP of the Surveillance Investigation Bureau, has said that in the raid, jewelery worth Rs. On the basis of several documents related to the land of the drug inspector and the seized passbooks of various banks, he asked to present the complete details after assessing the entire property.
