Aurangabad: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi   (Tejashwi )    Yadav have once again targeted the Election Commission in Aurangabad, Bihar. On one hand, Rahul said that the Election Commission asks for affidavit from him but BJP leader Anurag Thakur does not ask. On the other hand, Tejashwi said that the Election Commission has been sent to Bihar to steal your votes through SIR

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has once again attacked the Election Commission. Addressing the public in Aurangabad, he said, “When ED, CBI, Income Tax Department failed in Bihar, they have now sent the Election Commission to Bihar to steal your votes through SIR. BJP’s double engine government wants to steal your votes. A big scam is going on and they are cutting your votes.” Rahul Gandhi also targeted the Election Commission in Aurangabad

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Aurangabad said, “The Election Commission asks me for an affidavit. But when Anurag Thakur says the same thing that I am saying, he is not asked for an affidavit. Lok Sabha elections were held in Maharashtra and the India alliance won. Four months later, assembly elections were held and in the same Maharashtra, the BJP alliance won by a huge margin and our alliance was not visible. It disappeared. When we investigated, it was found that the Election Commission magically created one crore new voters in four months after the Lok Sabha elections. Wherever new voters came, the BJP won. Our votes did not decrease.” Rahul Gandhi said, “India alliance got the same number of votes in the assembly as it got in the Lok Sabha. BJP got all new voters. So we got suspicious. We asked the Election Commission to explain this to us. Where did these one crore voters come from? Who are they? The Election Commission told us that we will not give an explanation. We do not need your explanation. Then we told them that you have installed CCTVs. The law is that any party asking for CCTVs has to give CCTV cameras. They said they will not give CCTVs. Then we said give us the voter list. They say they will not give electronic voter list. The Election Commission and BJP together have committed theft in Bengaluru Central. I am telling you this with guarantee. The Election Commission asks me for an affidavit. But when Anurag Thakur says the same thing that I am saying, it does not ask him for an affidavit.”

The Election Commission had held a press conference

The Election Commission had responded to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations by holding a press conference on Sunday itself. The Election Commission had said that Rahul Gandhi will have to give an affidavit on his allegations within seven days or apologize to the country. If he does not do so, his allegations will be considered baseless.
