Kupwara: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, a major action has been taken against a Lashkar-e-Taiba commander in Kupwara. The house (House) of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Farooq Tidwa has been demolished in Narikoot Kalarus border area of Kupwara district. This is being considered a major action of the army.
House of terrorist Adnan Safi Dar also demolished
The house of Adnan Safi Dar son of Mohammad Shafi Dar, who is another active terrorist of Shopian district and has been working jointly for Lashkar and TRF since 2024, has also been demolished.
8 terrorists’ houses razed in 24 hours
After the Pahalgam terror attack, the army is seen in action mode. The army has razed the houses of 8 terrorists so far in 24 hours.
Earlier, the 2-storey house of terrorist Ehsan Ahmed Sheikh in Pulwama was demolished. He was also associated with Lashkar and was active since June 2023. Apart from this, the house of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Haris Ahmed in Kanchipora, Pulwama was also blown up in a blast. He was also active since the year 2023.
Apart from this, the house of terrorist Asif Sheikh Adil, who was involved in the Pahalgam terror attack, was also blown up in a blast on Friday. Asikh Sheikh’s name had come up in the Pahalgam terror attack. Apart from this, in another blast on Friday morning, the house of terrorist Adil Gurri, who was a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, was also demolished.
2 suspects also arrested from Adigam Devsar area of Kulgam
Police arrested two suspects with arms and ammunition in Adigam Devsar area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir. On a specific information, police arrested two people near Adigam Devsar crossing during a search operation with security forces. A pistol, a pistol magazine, ten pistol rounds, a grenade, an AK magazine and ten AK rifle rounds were recovered from them. Meanwhile, the police have registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
Security forces in action after terrorist attack in Pahalgam
