Panchmahal: An interesting incident has come to light in the wedding season from Bhotwa village (village) of Shahra taluka in Panchmahal district of Gujarat. A family adopted a unique way to make the wedding special, which is different from the wedding trends of today. In a wedding held in Bhotwa village, the groom reached his bride’s village by helicopter, which became the center of attraction.
The bride came to her in-laws’ house in a helicopter
Actually, Praveen Singh Baria, son of Kalubhai Badarbhai Baria, was married to Indira Kumari, daughter of Bharat Singh Pratap Singh Makwana, a resident of Dokwa village. The family hired a helicopter to make the occasion memorable. The helicopter reached Bhotwa village from Ahmedabad. The groom Praveen reached Dokwa village with his family by helicopter. At the same time, after the wedding ceremony, the bride also returned to her in-laws’ house by helicopter. People from many nearby villages including Bhotwa and Dokwa gathered to see this unique wedding.
Police team was also present
This was the first time a helicopter was used in a wedding ceremony in Shahra taluka. Earlier, expensive cars and buggies for the groom were a trend in weddings, but now luxurious things like helicopters have also become a part of making weddings special. Keeping safety in mind while the helicopter was flying, a team of the fire department and a police team were also present so that no untoward incident occurs. The newlywed couple got married in a peaceful atmosphere and their families blessed them.
