Holenarasipura: A case of sexual harassment has now been registered against HD Revanna’s son Suraj Revanna. This case has been registered at Holenarasipura Rural Police Station. The complainant said in her complaint that Suraj has sexually harassed her.
Sooraj Revanna accused of sexual harassment
A case has been registered against JDS MLC and HD Revanna’s son Suraj Revanna at Holenarasipura Rural Police  (Police) Station. The police have registered a case under sections 377, 342, 506 of the IPC. Complainant Chetan has alleged in his complaint to the police that Suraj Revanna sexually harassed her on June 16 at his farmhouse in Gannikada village of Hassan district. The complainant said in her complaint that Suraj Revanna first called her to his farmhouse. He tried to force himself on her. She also alleged that Sooraj threatened to kill her if she did not cooperate.

Case registered against Chetan and his relatives too

An FIR has been registered against Sooraj Revanna for allegedly trying to extort money by threatening to file a false case of sexual harassment. Police gave this information. Sooraj Revanna’s close aide Shivkumar lodged a complaint with the police in this regard on Friday, based on which an FIR was lodged against Chetan K.S. and his relative. Chetan also lodged a complaint with the police on Friday, in which he accused Sooraj Revanna of sexual harassment. Sooraj Revanna is the son of Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna and the elder brother of former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna.

Prajwal Revanna facing sexual harassment case
Prajwal Revanna is in police custody for allegedly sexually harassing several women. In his complaint, Shivakumar alleged that Chetan first befriended him and started working for the ‘Sooraj Revanna Brigade’. Recently, when Chetan asked for money for family expenses, Shivakumar refused, following which the accused threatened to file a police complaint accusing Sooraj Revanna of sexual harassment. Shivakumar claimed that Chetan demanded Rs 5 crore, which he later reduced to Rs 2 crore. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against Chetan and his relative under sections 384 (extortion), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (involving others in conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
