Anantnag. Terrorists shot dead(killed ) a migrant man on Monday in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information received, the deceased has been identified as Deepu, a resident of Udhampur. He used to work in a private circus at an amusement park in Anantnag. The terrorists opened fire on him on Monday evening. He was taken to the nearest hospital in an injured condition, where he died.
Police said that the youth used to work in an amusement park near Janglat Mandi. He belonged to a very poor family. Deepu’s body has been sent to Udhampur. Here the police have cordoned off the area and have started a search operation.
Deepu was the sole breadwinner of his family. His age is said to be 23 to 24 years. He was married only a year ago. It is also being told that Deepu’s wife is pregnant.
Police officials said that since this incident, security has been increased in and around the circus. At the same time, after registering a case of murder, the investigation has been started. The police told that a fun fair has been going on in this area for the last few days, which people here call a circus. There is no animal show in this fair. Deepu, who was working in this fair, was injured by firing. There was chaos in the fair after the sound of firing.
