The statement ((statement )) of riot-like situation is not a mere coincidence

Mumbai. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Wednesday that statements (statement ) about riot-like situation in the state by some leaders and glorification of Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan by a section of a particular community cannot be mere coincidence. Talking to reporters in Navi Mumbai, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the act of glorifying Mughal ruler Aurangzeb will not be tolerated in Maharashtra. He said that after investigation, it will be found out who is instigating a section of youth.

Fadnavis was speaking against the backdrop of Aurangzeb’s photo being waved during a procession in Ahmednagar and Tipu Sultan’s photo and objectionable audio message being allegedly posted on social media by some locals in Kolhapur. The Bharatiya Janata Party leader also claimed that riot-like situations are arising in some areas of the state because people of a particular community are glorifying Aurangzeb.

He said, ‘Some leaders were saying that a riot-like situation could develop in the state. In response to the comments of these leaders, the youth of a particular community waved pictures of Aurangzeb. He glorified Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan. It cannot be a mere coincidence.’ Fadnavis said, ‘Why suddenly these pictures were shown in many districts of Maharashtra? It doesn’t happen easily or automatically. And it cannot be mere coincidence, we should go to the bottom of the matter.

He said that he was surprised that a main leader of the opposition in Kolhapur said that he knew that there would be riots. The Deputy Chief Minister said, “After his statement, some youths there glorified Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan, and then there was a reaction. Is there any connection between the statement and the incidents?” We are probing who is glorifying Aurangzeb and who is instigating people to do so. I will reveal those things after the investigation is complete.

Without naming Sharad Pawar, he said – all the leaders are speaking the same language
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Wednesday claimed that the rulers are responsible for establishing law and order in the state. If the ruling party and their people come out on the streets with this and create a rift between the two religions, then it is not a good sign. ‘ Fadnavis said without naming anyone, ‘I can easily see that all these leaders are speaking the same language. People of a particular community are helping him and glorifying Aurangzeb. Riot-like situations are arising in some areas of the state because people of a particular community are glorifying Aurangzeb.

Maharashtra follows the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
He said, ‘Maharashtra follows the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We all have seen some leaders trying to show Aurangzeb as a patriot. We have to examine how some leaders speak in the same language and how they get immediate response.’ Later, talking to reporters in Nagpur, he said the government would track down those trying to disturb the law and order situation. .
