New Delhi. In the era of technology, all the traditional means of fighting the war are now proving to be dwarfs. Every day some new technology is coming. On the same lines, now Indian Army is also starting to upgrade itself technically and that too on fast track mode. Army has issued technical and commercial proposal for 48 jet pack suits and 100 robotic mules. Army is going to make all these purchases from indigenous companies through fast track process under emergency purchase. If we talk about jet pack suits, then till now you must have seen them in science friction movies, Hollywood movies. Several western military forces are researching such jet pack suits, including the United States and the United Kingdom.
A video was also released of the UK Marine circling around the Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier with a speed boat. It was seen in the video that humans have been seen flying from one place to another by putting jet packs on their hands and back. They have been seen moving from one ship to another on the sea, but in future Indian Army soldiers can also be seen flying in the same fashion.
According to the Indian Army’s requirement for this jet pack suit, this suit will be a mobilizing suit for a single soldier with a turbine, so that the soldier can easily take off and land, and easily reduce the height of his flight. Will be able to They will be able to move in every direction and this jetsuit can easily pick up the soldier and take him to another place. The weight of this jet pack should not be more than 40 kg.
The propulsion system of the jet must be based on modern turbine or electric or hybrid technology. Its maximum speed should not be less than 50 kilometers per hour. Its payload capacity should not be less than 80 kg i.e. 80 kg person can easily fly with this 40 kg weight suit and the flight time should not be less than 8 minutes. This jet pack suit can operate easily in minimum 10 to 15 and maximum 40 to 45 degree temperature.
The shelf life of this suit should not be less than ten years. The jet pack suit required by the army should be easily operable up to a height of 3000 meters in plains, deserts, mountains and high altitude areas. Through this suit, one can easily reach high altitude areas or such remote places where it is difficult to reach on foot. If there is a casualty agar and the expert medical officer of the army has to be sent there, then they will be able to reach easily through this. However, a soldier flying in the sky can easily hit the target of the enemy. Therefore, planning preparations have been done regarding its use.
Indian Army needs robotic mules to carry luggage
In order to maintain the deployment in the difficult conditions in which the Indian Army is standing on the borders, in order to continue the supply of logistics, fuel and ammunition, as far as the roads are there, goods are taken with the help of vehicles. But where there are no roads, mules are still used to reach the logistics. Now in future this work will not be done by mules but by robots. In view of this, the army has issued a proposal for technical and commercial proposal. Recently, the army has started the process of procuring drones carrying goods. At present, the army has made preparations to buy 100 robotic mules.
