The latest example of this resolve is Professor Amarnath Sharma alias Daddy. His dream has come true at the age of 84. At an age when people are unable to walk, Daddy invested his entire life’s earnings in making the Hindi film Aaradya. Adorned with the acting of lead actor Raja Guru, this film is set to release in theaters on 18 July 2025.
Aaradya is not just a film, it is also a dream of Professor Amarnath Sharma aka Daddy. People in Banaras know him as Daddy. He came to Mumbai from Banaras in the 60s. He worked as a painter in RK Studio and was also active in theatre. As a director, he devoted 40 years to theatre but he always had a dream of making a film. Finally, at the age of 84, his dream turned into reality.
At the age of 84, he has the energy of a 25-year-old. He is confident that people will definitely like the film Aaradya. He did not make this film only for entertainment, but it also depicts Indian civilization, culture, family values, brother’s love for sister, social values, religious aspects. Where Bollywood has gone astray in the trap of western culture, he has presented a complete Indian cinema.
Professor Amarnath Sharma says that the hero of this film Raja Guru is like his son. Because Raja not only played the lead role in this film but also held my hand and made every effort to make my dream come true. Raja Guru always encouraged me and was also concerned about my health.
Professor Amarnath Sharma has received many awards as a painter and stage actor but right now he is very excited about the release of his film Aaradya which he wants to present to the audience after facing a lot of challenges.
Produced under the banner of Ardhanareshwar Creations, the film Aaradya is produced by Professor Amarnath Sharma aka Daddy, co-produced by Tushar Sharma and written and directed by Sujit Goswami. The film, which will be released in theaters on 18 July 2025, also stars Gyan Prakash, Pankaj Berry, Deepak Dutt Sharma and Rupali Jadhav in important roles along with hero Raja Guru. The songs of the film have been sung by singers like Shahid Mallya, Rahul Saxena, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Kritika Srivastava.
