Srinagar. Mild tremors of earthquake have been felt in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. According to the National Center for Seismology, this earthquake occurred at around 5.43 am in the south-southwest area, 15 km from Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Its intensity is recorded as 3.2 on the Richter scale. However, according to preliminary information, there is no report of any casualty in this earthquake.
It was told that people panicked after feeling the tremors of the earthquake. Most of the people were sleeping when this earthquake happened. At the same time, there was an earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir on February 10 as well. Then the epicenter of the earthquake was in Kel, Gilgit-Baltistan at a depth of 29 km. It was told that the tremor of the earthquake was felt in Jammu and Kashmir at around one o’clock in the afternoon. There was no news of any loss of life in this also.
Earlier on February 5, there was an earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir. A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck Jammu and Kashmir, which damaged the dome of a famous Sufi shrine in Charar-e-Sharif, however, no casualties were reported due to this earthquake.

Officials had said that the epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at 9.45 am on February 5, was on the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. He said that strong tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to inquire about the situation in the Union Territory after the earthquake.
