Delhi: The results ( Result) of the assembly elections in the Union Territory of Delhi will be out today on Saturday. What time will the counting of votes start?
According to the information, the counting of votes of the public for the Delhi Assembly elections will start at 8 am on Saturday and the initial trends will start coming from the early hours. According to the Election Commission, 60.54 percent votes have been cast for the 70 assembly seats of Delhi. There may be some change in this figure.
How will the security arrangements be?
Delhi’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Alice Vaz has informed that a total of 5,000 personnel will be deployed for counting on Saturday. A three-tier security system has been put in place for the 19 counting centers, including two companies of paramilitary forces and Delhi Police personnel. Only authorized personnel will be allowed inside the counting centers, where the use of mobile phones will be strictly prohibited.
AAP and BJP clash before the results
Before the results of the Delhi Assembly elections are out, Aam Aadmi Party and BJP have come face to face. In fact, many leaders of Aam Aadmi Party including Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh have alleged that BJP is trying to lure its candidates to its side by luring them with money. The exit polls released after the elections have predicted a clear majority for the BJP in Delhi. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has claimed that the BJP will get around 50 seats in the Delhi Assembly elections. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party has rejected the exit polls and said that it will form the government again in Delhi and the party’s convener Arvind Kejriwal will become the Chief Minister for the fourth time.
