New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a significant political assertion during a high-level meeting of the INDIA alliance, stating that growing public dissatisfaction could pose serious challenges for the central government in the coming months.
Addressing the gathering, Gandhi criticized several policies of the government and argued that concerns related to youth, farmers, and ordinary citizens are fueling public discontent across the country.
He also raised the issues of unemployment and recurring examination paper leaks, saying that such incidents are affecting the future of millions of young people. According to Gandhi, the lack of adequate employment opportunities remains a major concern for citizens.
The Congress leader further questioned the government’s approach to foreign policy and international affairs. He alleged that certain economic and trade agreements could have adverse implications for farmers and other sections of society, calling for wider discussion on these matters.
Leaders from various opposition parties participating in the meeting also exchanged views on key national issues and discussed future political strategies. There was no immediate response from the central government regarding the remarks made during the meeting.
