Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has lost the Delhi Assembly elections. Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal himself could not win the election. Nearly a month after his party lost power in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will go to Punjab  ( Punjab)  on Tuesday for a 10-day Vipassana session. Party sources have given this information.

Kejriwal will attend Vishyana session till March 15

AAP sources said that Kejriwal will leave for Hoshiarpur on Tuesday for a meditation camp. Sources said that he will attend a Vipassana session at a center there from March 5 to March 15. Kejriwal attended a 10-day session at the Dhamma Dhaja Vipassana Center in Anandgarh, Hoshiarpur in December 2023.

Kejriwal has come here before as well

Earlier, he went to Hoshiarpur after receiving summons from the Enforcement Directorate for questioning in the money laundering case related to the excise policy. After losing the election from New Delhi seat in the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5, Kejriwal has not appeared in public and has limited himself to party-related activities.

Aam Aadmi Party loses in Delhi elections

The Aam Aadmi Party ruled Delhi from 2015 to 2024 with a huge mandate, but in this recent assembly election, it was reduced to 22 seats in the 70-member House. The BJP ended the dominance of Kejriwal’s party here by winning 48 seats. Many big leaders of AAP including Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Satyendra Jain and Somnath Bharti lost the elections.

Many types of rumors are flying in Punjab

After the defeat, the Delhi unit of AAP is holding organizational meetings. Its convener Gopal Rai said that only those leaders who perform well in the elections will be given responsibility in the organization. Kejriwal’s Punjab tour is also important in view of the Congress’ claim that many AAP MLAs are ready to go to its camp. AAP has denied all such rumours including the removal of Bhagwant Mann from the post of Chief Minister of the state.
