Uddhav Thackeray’s taunt on BJP-RSS

Mumbai. Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and head of Shiv Sena (Balasaheb faction) Uddhav Thackeray, while targeting the BJP, also took a jibe at the RSS. Addressing a rally in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, Thackeray said that we do not have to let India fall into the clutches of slavery, if this does not happen then the 2024 election will be the last. Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘I stood here to save the freedom of the country. Those who have nothing to do with independence are sitting on the throne today. Has the country got freedom by sprinkling cow urine? We got this freedom by sacrificing.

Along with this, Thackeray also challenged the Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena to use the name of Balasaheb Thackeray. Uddhav Thackeray said, the Election Commission has taken away the name and election symbol of Shiv Sena, but they cannot take away the party from us.

Uddhav Thackeray said, Sardar Patel banned RSS, they stole the name of Sardar Patel. Similarly, they stole Subhash Chandra Bose and did the same with Balasaheb Thackeray. I challenge them to seek votes in the name of Modi instead of in the name of Shiv Sena and without Balasaheb Thackeray’s photo. He said that the Election Commission has taken away the name and symbol of Shiv Sena, but they cannot take away the party from us.

Thackeray said in his address that, we have to decide that those who have nothing to do with the freedom struggle and have animal instincts should be buried in 2024. We have to take an oath that we will not allow Mother India to come under the clutches of slavery.

Thackeray said, I call those who stole the bow and arrow (party symbol) in front of me and I come in front of you with a torch. I will do whatever Maharashtra decides, if you people ask me to go home, I will go. But I will not sit at home if the Election Commission, who are slaves of those in power, asks me to do so, even in spite of this.
