Rajinikanth admitted to hospital

Chennai: Actor Rajinikanth was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on Thursday for a routine test. According to Superstar’s Public Relations Officer, Rajinikanth was admitted to Kauvery Hospital for routine checkup on Thursday evening.

Actor Rajinikanth’s wife Latha Rajinikanth told a Tamil news channel that the 70-year-old veteran actor was hospitalized for a day for routine tests. Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee Rajinikanth had earlier tweeted that he watched his film ‘Annathe’ with his grandson on Wednesday which is yet to release.

Earlier in December 2020, 70-year-old film actor Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad after experiencing fluctuating blood pressure. At that time he was shooting for a film. However, he was later discharged within two days. Earlier, the superstar’s kidney transplant has also been done.
