State government’s counsel Hassan Mohammed gave this information to the Madras High Court bench of Justices PN Prakash and R Hemlata during the hearing of the Habeas Corpus petition of Nalini’s mother S Padma on Thursday. After recording this statement, the bench has stopped hearing on the petition.

In her petition, S Padma had said that she has many diseases and she wants her daughter to stay with her.
