The accused has been identified as 26-year-old Prakash Yadav, son of Ashok Yadav, resident of Solopati-Lalpur, Police Station Shringeshwar, District Madhepura, Bihar. At the same time, the deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Priyanka Yadav daughter Bacha Yadav resident of Supaul Bihar. ASP Mandi Sagar Chandra has confirmed the arrest of the accused. In the blind murder case, a small footage of CCTV became helpful for the police and the police were able to reach the accused. In the initial interrogation, accused Prakash Yadav has told that he is married and has three children. The woman whom he killed was also married and has two children. Both of them had illicit relations with each other. The woman forced the accused to forcibly marry her. Both of them got married a month and a half ago. Since then, Prakash Yadav was determined to kill him.

He brought her to Himachal on the pretext of taking her for a tour. Went to his cousin in Kullu and stayed there. On his return, he got down from the bus near 9 miles adjacent to Pandoh and fled from there after killing the woman by taking her to the hill. The accused was continuously absconding, but after all the investigation, the police have finally arrested him.
