Jemima Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh lead India to victory

The hero of the victory was Jemimah Rodrigues, who not only got the Indian women’s team out of trouble with Atishi batting but also helped them start their campaign with a win in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Jemima scored an unbeaten 53 off 38 balls. He hit eight fours in his innings. Richa Ghosh supported Jemima to the fullest. She persevered till the end. Richa scored 31 runs in 20 balls. A 58-run partnership was formed between Jemima and Richa.

Bad start for India
