Heavy rain forecast in many states
New Delhi. It is raining heavily in many states of India, while in some states people are still waiting for good rains. In this episode, the Indian Meteorological Center (IMD) has given information about the rains in different states. On Monday, the IMD has tweeted and informed that during the next 3 days, scattered to widespread light and moderate rain with thundershowers is expected in isolated areas over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Apart from this, it has been told by tweeting that during the next 3 days there is a possibility of light and moderate rain with scattered heavy rains in West Rajasthan and scattered light and moderate rain in East Rajasthan during the next 2 days.
On the other hand, very widespread to moderate rainfall with heavy falls is very likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next two days. According to media reports, the forecast of IMD is heavy at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain in Marathwada, Gujarat region, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal and South Interior and Telangana.
