Explosion outside mosque, 5 dead

Kabul: On Sunday, 5 civilians were killed in a blast targeting the gate of a mosque in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Let us tell you that prayer was being organized in Kabul’s Idgah mosque in memory of the mother of Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid and this blast has been done targeting the exact same place.

Notably, no one has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. However, attacks by the Islamic State terror group have increased since the Taliban took over Afghanistan in mid-August. In such a situation, the possibility of further deepening of the conflict between the two extremist groups has increased.
