Buxar. The big news is from Buxar,(Buxar) Bihar, where at least 4 people died in the accident of North Express going from Anand Vihar station of New Delhi to Kamakhya Dham. Around 80 people are reported to have been injured in the accident. Buxar DM Anshul Aggarwal has confirmed the number of casualties.
According to the information, 21 bogies of the train have derailed badly. Many passengers are still stuck in these coaches. Due to this, the condition of the passengers is said to be critical. After the accident, relief and rescue work is going on at the spot.
NDRF team from Patna has also reached the spot. Apart from Buxar, teams of doctors have also left with ambulances from Arrah and Patna. Meanwhile, Buxar MP Ashwini Choubey has also reached the spot. Union Minister Ashwini Choubey spoke to Patna AIIMS Director over phone. He told that serious patients will be taken directly to Patna AIIMS.
Regarding this accident, BJP MP from Buxar and Union Minister Ashwini Choubey said, ‘As soon as I got the news of this, I immediately informed the officials like Railway Minister, NDRF, SDRF, Chief Secretary of Bihar, District Magistrate etc. I would appeal to the people to come in large numbers and help the victims… The reason for this incident is being ascertained…’
