The matter is of Dinshah Gaura Bazar of the district. Tirath Raj, who lives here, runs a paan dump. He told that he pays electricity bill every month. In August, a bill of six hundred rupees came. which he had deposited. But when a new bill of 16 lakhs came this month, seeing that the ground slipped from under his feet.

The aggrieved consumer told that in October when he reached the electricity sub-station Gadaganj to deposit the bill, he was given an electricity bill of Rs 16 lakh 18 thousand. Tirath has told that he lives with the family in the hut. He runs a bulb and a fan here. In such a situation, he does not understand how the bill came in spite of running only one light-one fan.

Tirath told that when he complained about this to the sub-divisional officer Varun Kumar and Unchahar, he was turned away. Since then he is wandering for amendment. On the other hand, SE Yadunath Ram, the head of the electricity department, was asked about this matter, he refused to tell anything.
