Bharatpur. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi held rallies in Mewat, a Muslim-majority area, on Saturday. Owaisi did the first rally in Alwar’s Tapukada and the second rally in Bharatpur’s hill. In fact, Junaid and Nasir, who were allegedly burnt alive in Haryana after being assaulted, were residents of Ghatmika in the hill. Owaisi also met the families of Junaid and Nasir in Ghatmika village after the public meeting.
Asaduddin Owaisi fiercely attacked the Gehlot government at a rally here and alleged that ‘CM Gehlot did nothing for the Muslims.’ On the other hand, Owaisi retorted on the allegations of dividing Muslim votes on AIMIM and said that we were called votekatua. It goes, but this time we will take our rights. He said, ‘If Congress loses the election because of Owais, then why did Congress lose the last election in Rajasthan. Why did Gehlot’s son lose the Lok Sabha elections?
Owaisi also fiercely targeted the Gehlot government and the Rajasthan Police in the matter of burning two youths. Owais also wants to politically cash in on the frequent clashes between cow protectors and cattle smugglers in Mewat.
In fact, elections are going to be held in Rajasthan this year and Owaisi is eyeing 35 Muslim-dominated seats in the state, most of which are in Mewat. In this episode, he will address a rally in Tonk under the influence of Sachin Pilot.
There is a lot of restlessness in the Congress due to this election campaign of Owaisi. On one hand, he is targeting the Ashok Gehlot government, while on the other hand, he is trying to make a dent in Tonk, which is considered to be the stronghold of Sachin Pilot. In the year 2018, most of the Muslim dominated seats were won by the Congress. For this reason, Congress is afraid that Owaisi may spoil its hopes by dividing votes in Muslim majority seats.
