Train accident in Rajasthan:10 passengers injured…no casualties

Pali: 8 coaches of Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Suryanagari Express train derailed between Rajkiwas-Bomdara section of Jodhpur division at 3:27 am today. Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway said that 11 bogies have been affected due to the derailment of the train, no casualty has been reported in this accident. According to the information, 10 passengers have been injured. An accident relief train from Jodhpur has been sent to the spot. A passenger of the train said, ‘Within 5 minutes of departure from Marwar Junction, a sound of vibration was heard inside the train and after 2-3 minutes the train stopped. We got down and saw that at least 11 sleeper class coaches were derailed. Then within 15-20 minutes, the ambulance arrived. At present, four trains have been diverted after the accident and the route has been blocked till the rescue operation is completed and the track is checked.
