India won the T20 match against Australia after 5 years at home, the series leveled at 1-1

India beat Australia: India defeated Australia by 6 wickets in the second match of the three-match T20I series. The match did not start on time due to a wet outfield at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The match took only 8-8 overs. Team India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia scored 90 runs for 5 wickets in 8 overs. Team India achieved the target of 91 runs by losing 4 wickets in 7.2 overs. Let us tell you that after 5 years, Team India defeated Australia in the T20 match on home soil. Earlier, the team had won in Ranchi on 7 October 2017. After this, 5 matches have been played between the two in India and the hosts were able to win only in Nagpur.

For India, captain Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 46 off 20 balls with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes. Dinesh Karthik gave the team victory by hitting sixes and fours in the last over. Apart from this, KL Rahul scored 10, Virat Kohli scored 11 and Hardik Pandya scored 9 runs. Suryakumar Yadav was the victim of golden duck. Adam Zampa took 3 wickets and Pat Cummins took 1 wicket for Australia. Zampa dismissed Rahul, Kohli and Suryakumar. On the other hand, Cummins dismissed Pandya.

 

Earlier, Matthew Wade played an unbeaten 43 off 20 balls for Australia. Apart from this, Aaron Finch scored 31 runs in 15 balls. Virat Kohli got the first success for Team India by dismissing Cameron Green. After this, Axar Patel dismissed Glenn Maxwell and Tim David. Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Aaron Finch. Steve Smith was run out on the last ball of the innings. There were two changes in the Indian team. Jasprit Bumrah came in place of Umesh Yadav and Rishabh Pant in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. A change happened in Australia. Sean Abbott got a chance in place of Josh English.
