CM instructed to act on the demands of unfunded teachers,

Ranchi: Representatives of Unfinanced Education United Sangharsh Morcha held talks with Chief Minister Hemant Soren in his chamber of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly on Friday. After the talks, the Chief Minister described the various demands of the Morcha as an old matter. Also, directed his secretary Vinay Kuzmar Choubey to take necessary action and asked to give its documents.

In March 2020, on the short notice question of MLA Deepika Pandey Singh, the government had assured the House that finance-free education policy by forming a high-level committee, including non-financed intermediate colleges, establishment-approved high schools, Sanskrit schools and approved schools, which are given by the state government. Will make service condition rules by abolishing it. At the same time, it wants to give pay scale to all the unfunded teachers and non-teaching employees while serving in the government cadre. The Chief Minister had assured the House that the Administrative Commission had been constituted and in the light of its recommendation, the government would take a decision on the salary. The representatives of the Morcha urged the Chief Minister to take action in the light of assurances in the House. The representatives of the Morcha said that eight to 10 thousand teacher-employees are working for the last 20-25 years. MLAs Deepika Pandey Singh, Saryu Rai, Vinod Singh and Amba Prasad, who were present in the talks, demanded the Chief Minister to end the financeless education policy and pay salaries to the teachers and employees working in them. He said that he has been working without pay for a long time. Raghunath Singh, Ranjit Mishra, Narottam Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Manish Kumar, Dr. Devnath Singh, Arvind Singh and Chandrashekhar were involved in the talks.
