UP Police has got a big success in the Lakhimpur violence (Tikonia violence) case of Uttar Pradesh. According to information received from sources, the UP Police has got evidence against Ashish Mishra alias Monu, son of the Union Minister of State for Home. It is being told that Ashish Mishra was present in the Fortuner car of Ankit Das at the spot that day. According to sources, the police have found evidence of Ashish Mishra’s presence, after which both Ashish Mishra and Ankita are being searched with enthusiasm. On the other hand, Ashish Mishra, the main accused in the Tikoniya violence, did not appear before the crime branch till 10:00 am on Friday. On Thursday, the police had pasted a notice at the house of Ashish Mishra to appear before the crime branch at his house. It is being told that the police can declare Ashish Mishra absconding and will raid his possible hideouts to arrest Ashish.
The main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case was asked by the UP Police to join the interrogation on Friday, but Ashish did not reach till the stipulated time. At the same time, the police have traced the location of Ashish. Yesterday i.e. on Thursday, his location was coming near the Nepal border, which was visible on Friday morning in Uttarakhand. The UP Police is also taking the help of Uttarakhand Police in this matter.
In the Lakhimpur Kheri case, the UP government will present the status report before the bench of CJI NV Ramana in the Supreme Court. All the steps taken by the government so far will be mentioned in the report. The names of all the deceased victims and the FIR registered in the names of the accused will also be mentioned. Will inform the court about the compensation given by the UP government to the victims and all the steps including the formation of the commission. The UP government will also clarify the situation regarding the police investigation and arrest of the accused.
Brijesh Pathak, Law Minister of the Government of Uttar Pradesh has said that the government is taking continuous action against the Lakhimpur case. The guilty will not be spared. There are elections in UP in February-March, so political parties are doing politics on the whole matter to get sympathy. On Ashish Mishra’s non-appearance, he said, “Our government clearly believes that there is a guilty-guilty, there is no big or small rich poor in it, action will be taken against the one who is guilty.”
