Captain mentioned Pakistan in Muslim majority Mallerkotla

The former chief minister also hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for claiming that he nominated Charanjit Singh Channi as the party’s chief ministerial candidate because he comes from a simple background. Amarinder Singh alleged, “Channi is one of the richest candidates contesting elections with assets worth hundreds of crores.”

Urging people to choose PLC candidates for their “better future”, the Captain reminded them that it was his government that made Malerkotla a district and also announced setting up of a medical college here. He promised that a university would be set up in the city once the BJP-PLC-SAD (United) government is formed in the state.
