In the 5th T20 match against New Zealand, the Indian team hit a total of 23 sixes in their innings, thus equaling their own record. This is the joint-highest number of sixes hit by a team in a single T20 International match. Previously, the Indian team had hit a total of 23 sixes in a T20 match against South Africa in Johannesburg in 2024.
