IAS officers transferred  (transferred)

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday transferred  (transferred) 10 senior IAS officers as part of a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy. Under this, SN Mishra has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Home Department and Mohammad Suleman as Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC). SN Mishra will replace Sanjay Dubey. He has now been made Principal Secretary (PS) of the Science and Technology Department.

Who got what responsibility

An official said that Suleman, who has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department for a long time, has been made Agriculture Production Commissioner in place of Mishra under the reshuffle. He said that Mishra will continue to hold the charge of ACS of the Transport Department. ACS KC Gupta in the Higher Education Department has now been posted on the same post in the Public Works Department in place of DP Ahuja. Ahuja will now take charge of Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Department.

Similarly, PS Vivek Kumar Porwal of Health Department has now been made PS of Revenue Department and Commissioner of Relief and Rehabilitation Wing. Anirudh Mukherjee, posted on the post of PS of AYUSH Department, has been sent to Delhi as Officer on Special Duty (OSD), while PS Deepali Rastogi of Cooperative Department has now been made PS of Panchayat and Rural Development Department. PS of Public Relations Department and Managing Director (MD) of ‘Madhyam’ Sandeep Yadav has now been made PS of Health and Family Welfare Department, while in place of Yadav, Sudam P. Khade will be MD of ‘Madhyam’ and will also take charge of Secretary of Public Relations Department.

100 officers were transferred before the election

Earlier, the Madhya Pradesh government had transferred 100 IAS and IPS officers by making a major administrative reshuffle before the Lok Sabha elections. The government had given new postings to 51 IAS and 49 IPS officers and also transferred several State Administrative Service (SAS) officers.
