Anupriya Patel got angry on this bill of Yogi government(Anupriya Patel )

Lucknow: BJP ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) president and Union Minister Anupriya Patel   (Anupriya Patel )  has raised questions on the UP government’s Nazul land related bill and demanded its immediate withdrawal. Anupriya Patel said on the X handle that the Uttar Pradesh government should immediately withdraw this bill and strict action should be taken against the officials who have misled in this matter.

Anupriya Patel said the bill is against the sentiments of the people

Anupriya Patel said that the Nazul land related bill has been sent to the Select Committee of the Legislative Council for discussion. Regarding the Nazul land related bill brought without extensive discussion, I clearly believe that this bill is not only unnecessary but also against the sentiments of the common man.

Nazul Property Bill could not be passed in Legislative Council

Let us tell you that the Uttar Pradesh Nazul Property Bill passed by the Assembly on Wednesday did not get the approval of the Legislative Council and it was sent to the Select Committee of the House on the proposal of the ruling party. After the lunch break proceedings in the Council on Thursday, Leader of the House Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya placed this bill on the table of the House. But Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member and party state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary proposed to hand it over to the Select Committee.

He said that his proposal is that this bill should be handed over to the Select Committee of the House, which should submit its report within two months. After this, Chairman Kunwar Manvendra Singh declared the proposal to hand over this bill to the Select Committee passed by voice vote.

Many MLAs appealed for amendment in the bill

BJP has 79 members in the 100-member House of the State Legislative Council. In such a situation, the non-passing of this bill is considered very important. Before it was passed in the assembly on Wednesday, some MLAs from the ruling party had also expressed the need for amendments in the proposal. However, later it was declared passed by voice vote.
