Weeks of Mansarovar Yatra will remain for a few days

Dehradun. In the coming times, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is going to be much easier for the devotees than before. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra can now be completed without going to China or Nepal. In fact, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari recently said that more than 90 percent work of Kailash Mansarovar Road Project has been completed. This route is passing through Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.

Gadkari said, “93 per cent work of Kailash Mansarovar Road Project has been completed.” The new road is expected to reduce the travel time of pilgrims going to Kailash Mansarovar by several days. Presently the journey to Kailash Mansarovar through Sikkim or Nepal Routes takes about 2 to 3 weeks.

BRO appreciated for Dharchula-Lipulekh road connectivity
The Union Minister lauded the Border Road Organization (BRO) for completing the road connectivity work from Dharchula to Lipulekh, popularly known as the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route, in the year 2022. Dharchula-Lipulekh road is an extension of Pithoragarh-Tawaghat-Ghatiyabagarh road. It originates from Ghatiabadgarh and ends at Lipulekh pass, the gateway to Kailash Mansarovar.
