According to sources, in the cabinet meeting on Thursday, all the ministers expressed anger and displeasure over yesterday’s incident. Some members have also requested to take very tough decisions.

The Punjab government has constituted a high-level committee to investigate the lapses during PM Modi’s visit to Ferozepur. The committee will consist of retired judge Mehtab Singh Gill, Principal Secretary (Home Affairs) and Justice Anurag Verma. The committee will submit its report within 3 days.
