With this, Rajasthan has achieved the top position in terms of public servants by leaving Uttar Pradesh. Experts believe that the reason for the better performance of the state in this exam is the excellent coaching institutes and the increasing awareness about this exam among the youth. According to the statistics of the Department of Personnel and Training for the last four years, Rajasthan has given a total of 84 IAS officers and this figure has been increasing since the last three years.

Budania told ‘PTI-Bhasha’, ‘With more and more candidates getting selected in CSE, future candidates have started taking inspiration from them.’
The IAS officer of the year 2020 batch said that the SC/ST community constitutes about 25 percent of the total population in Rajasthan and there is more awareness among these communities as compared to other states, due to which they appear in more number of examinations.
