Terrorists opened fire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri

Srinagar. Terrorists opened fire in Dangri village of Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir on late Sunday evening. A total of 8 people have been reported injured in this incident. The injured have been admitted to the Medical College of Rajouri, where two people have been reported to have died. Simultaneously, the entire area has been cordoned off and search has been started for the terrorists.

ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh told that firing was done in three different houses at a distance of about 50 meters in Upper Dangri village of Rajouri. Two civilians injured in this died on the spot, out of eight injured, one other person died during treatment. The injured are being treated at GMC Hospital. It is being told that three people are seriously injured and there are many bullets in their bodies.

Dr. Mehmood, Medical Superintendent at Rajouri Hospital, said, “3 people died while 7 people were injured in the firing incident in Dangri area of Rajouri. The treatment of the injured is going on. Police and district administration have reached the spot. Many bullets have been recovered from the bodies of the injured.

The deceased have been identified as Satish Kumar s/o Satpal, Deepak Kumar s/o Satpal, Pritam Lal s/o Lal Chand. The injured have been identified as Saroj Bala wife Satish Kumar, Rohit Pandit, Shubh Sharma son Satish Kumar, Pawan Kumar son Satpal, Sushil Kumar son Kundan Lal, Shiv Pal, Aroshi Sharma daughter Satish Kumar.
