Moscow. The Taliban government has assured the world at the Moscow Format meeting held in Russia’s capital Moscow that Afghan land will not be allowed to be used against other countries. Many countries of the world negotiated with the Taliban, which had been isolated since the occupation in Afghanistan. In this meeting organized by Russia, the organizing country acknowledged that the Taliban is working towards improving the situation in Afghanistan. The Taliban also presented their side in this important meeting. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban told the world that a new government has been formed in Afghanistan, which is responsible for all the countries of the world, especially for the neighbors. He assured that the security situation in Afghanistan is now under control and there is no threat to any other country.

This was India’s second conversation with the Taliban. Earlier on August 31, talks were held between India and the Taliban. But this meeting took place before the Taliban’s interim government was formed.

Let us tell you that the Moscow format was started in 2017, so that Afghanistan could be discussed. Former diplomats from India attended this meeting held in 2018. But for the first time since the formation of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, Indian officials now joined the Moscow format.
