Mentada: A fire broke out in Jakkuva village of Mentada mandal of Vijayanagar, Andhra Pradesh due to unknown reasons. Many houses have been destroyed due to the massive fire. Police officials say that the fire has been brought under control. There was no loss of life in the incident. All the people have been rescued.

According to the information received, on Friday night at 10 pm, a fire broke out in a house in Jakkuva village located in Mentanda mandal of Vijay Nagar, taking many houses in its grip. Before people could understand anything, the fire took a formidable form.

According to eyewitnesses, many people saved their lives by running out of their homes and saw the dream home being destroyed before their eyes. Vijayanagar DC Surya Kumari said, “The fire has been brought under control. Those who lost their homes in the fire have been accommodated in a local school. The cause of the fire is not yet known.”
