To ensure that people get full benefit of the schemes of the Central and State Government, the process of providing loans to the beneficiaries under various schemes should be further simplified. Solving public problems should be our top priority. Special attention should be paid towards simplifying the processes of insurance claims in agricultural insurance schemes. Special attention should be paid to increasing the loan deposit ratio in the districts. These instructions were given by Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Dhami to the officials during a special meeting of the State Level Bankers Committee in the Secretariat on Friday.

The Chief Minister said that more efforts should be made to increase the credit deposit ratio of the state. In the financial year 2024-25, the credit deposit ratio of the state has increased from 54 percent to 54.26 percent. The Chief Minister said that more effective efforts should be made to take it to 60 percent. Special attention should be given to increasing the credit deposit ratio in the hilly districts of the state, especially Tehri, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Almora, Pauri and Bageshwar districts. The Chief Minister said that to ensure that people get the benefits of public welfare schemes at one place on the same day, a large scale camp should be organized in all the districts in October, in which all the departments and bankers sit together and solve the public problems and benefit them with various schemes.
