The Chief Minister met the local people at Kirsali Chowk, IT Park, Nanurkheda, Amwala, Tapovan, Shanti Vihar and listened to their problems and said that the safety of the public is the top priority of the state government.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister directed the district administration to provide all possible help to the affected people. While giving instructions to clean the drains regularly and make proper arrangements for drainage in waterlogged areas, the Chief Minister said that special caution should be taken in sensitive areas and warning boards should also be installed.
The Chief Minister also directed the local police forces and all departments to remain on alert mode and said that prompt action should be ensured in case of any emergency. Also, every possible effort should be made to protect the lives and property of the affected people while keeping the response time to a minimum.
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Naresh Bansal, Vice President of Disaster Management Advisory Committee Mr. Vinay Ruhela, MLA Mr. Umesh Sharma Kau and district administration officials were present.
