Nandi Maharaj emerged from the ground  (Nandi Maharaj )

This is a temple which is quite unique in itself. Here Nandi and Lord Shiva are facing south. Here a stream of water is continuously falling from the mouth of Lord Nandi. Which continuously falls on the penis of Lord Shiva below it. But the story of this temple is quite interesting, after reading which you will also believe in miracles.
The early days of ‘Dakshin Nandi Tirtha’ temple have been told. During the excavation in 1997, workers found something like a stone, it seemed that it was a Shiva Linga, but on digging rapidly, Nandi was found, whose mouth A continuous stream of water was falling. After this, the Archaeological Survey of India was informed about this.

When the Archaeological Survey of India excavated in the direction of the water’s edge, everyone was surprised to see the scene there. Actually, a 400 year old huge Shiva temple was located underground. From above, the water coming out of Nandi’s mouth was falling on Shiva Linga. But till date no one has been able to find out where the water coming out of Nandi’s mouth is coming from.

The water coming out of Nandi’s mouth is stored in a pond located in the temple premises called Kalyani. When there is excess water, it is drained into a drain built in the temple itself.
