Weather: Due to rain and hailstorm in different parts of the country on Monday and Tuesday, there has been a significant drop in the temperature in many states. Due to continued light rain  (Heavy rain ) in the national capital Delhi, people have started feeling cold at night. It is expected that the temperature will drop further in the next few days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), winter has started and due to this the temperature in Delhi-NCR will drop significantly. The weather of the city has changed due to the active Western Disturbance.
In the coming weeks, the temperature in Delhi-NCR will be around 26-32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be around 16-19 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Delhi NCR was recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees less than the season’s average. Talking about today’s weather, according to Skymet Weather report, there may be light to moderate rain in Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands along with heavy rain at one or two places. Light to moderate rain may occur in parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Light rain is possible in Sikkim, Northeast India, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and Western Himalayas. Sea condition may become rough in Kerala coast and Lakshadweep area. Talking about the weather of the national capital Delhi, the weather is going to remain clear till 21st October. However, there is a possibility of cloudy sky in Delhi on 22nd October. While light rain may also occur. However, there will be no rain on 23rd October. Talking about the weather of UP, the sky is going to be clear here for the next five to six days.

According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation extends up to 3.1 km above the average level over the south-east Arabian Sea and the adjacent Lakshadweep area. Due to its effect, a low pressure area is also likely to develop over the south-east and central Arabian Sea in the next 24 hours. The IMD has predicted moderate rain with thunder and lightning over parts of Kerala for the next five days due to the cyclonic circulation, which is expected to strengthen by October 21.
