Cyber fraudsters cheated more than 70 thousand from the police, case registered

Agra – A case of cheating a policeman by cyber crooks has come to light from Agra in Uttar Pradesh. A policeman posted in the police line of Agra was victimized by cyber thugs. According to the information, the thugs cheated more than 70 thousand rupees from the policeman. According to the information received from the police, a further demand of two lakh rupees was made after this.

According to the complaint filed by the victim policeman, a call was received on WhatsApp on the evening of December 20 last year, when a girl on the other side got naked and the call was cut after a while. After this, the cyber criminals threatened the policemen and extorted money. Not only this, a fake IPS officer also showed fear of arresting him and losing his job. Disturbed by the repeated demands of money by the accused, policeman Hariram Sharma has filed a case in the Shahganj police station. Police are investigating the case.

Cheating with the help of fake porn clips
Most cases of cyber crime are now being reported from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, Bharatpur in Rajasthan and Mewat in Haryana. In the last few months, this triangle of cities seems to be adept at deepfaking blackmail. Cyber Cell of UP Police is investigating at least 400 such cases. Recently, the police said that after making fake pornographic videos, thugs call the victims and blackmail them for money between Rs 5,000 and Rs 50,000. Some of them speak English to lure people from good families in cities like Mumbai and Kolkata.
