Ayodhya. The Department of Fine Arts organized a seven-day mural painting workshop “Swami Vivekananda Ji Ke Aadarsh” on Saturday in the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. The workshop has been organized under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Colonel Dr. Bijendra Singh. While inspecting the workshop, the Vice Chancellor said that Swami Vivekananda is a great pioneer of Indian culture. Swami Vivekananda’s message is a mantra for the entire humanity. Swami Vivekananda is a source of inspiration for the youth. His entire life was dedicated to public awareness. The main objective of this workshop is to decorate the campus with murals under the one-day convention “Vikas 2025” on July 4, 2025. The work of beautification in Vivekananda Auditorium is being done by the Department of Fine Arts through the workshop. “I worship that God, whom ignorant people call man”. This statement of Swami Ji has been calligraphy written on the walls of the auditorium through calligraphy. Coordinator of the Department of Fine Arts Prof. Surendra Mishra said that in this workshop, along with making a live depiction of Vivekananda’s personality on the inner walls of Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, his ideals will be calligraphed. This mural painting will be made by the students of the painting class of the Fine Arts Department. 50 students have participated in it. Registrar Vinay Kumar Singh, Proctor Prof. S.S. Mishra, Dean Student Welfare Prof. Neelam Pathak, Coordinator Dr. Reema Singh, Dr. Alka Shrivastava, Dr. Rachna Shrivastava were present in the inspection of the workshop.
