In such a situation, the government has met the all -party meeting of the leaders of the House of political parties to form a general opinion on various subjects before the budget session. Sources said, “The meeting has been called on January 30 by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi at the parliamentary library building.”
While the Congress wants to discuss the issue of China, many opposition parties including Trinamool Congress, Left, RSP have expressed their intention to surround the government on inflation, unemployment, economy issues, center-state relations etc. during the Parliament session.

Budget session will start from 31 January
The budget session of Parliament will start from 31 January. On this day, President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint session of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The government will present the Economic Survey on 31 January itself.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget of FY 2023-24 on February 1, 2023. The first phase of the budget session will run till 13 February and the second phase will start from 13 March and run till April 6. There will be 27 meetings during the budget session.
Earlier there was speculation that the joint address of the President will be held in the new Parliament House on the first day of the budget session. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, however, has recently informed that the work of the new Parliament House is still going on by tweeting all the speculations. He said that in such a situation, the President’s address will be in the central room of the old Parliament House itself.
The possibility of discussion on the bill is reduced in the first phase of the session
In the first phase of the budget session of Parliament, the possibility of discussion and passage on the bills is less. However, in the second phase of the session, many important bills can be introduced.
